And that’s where our Forecaster tool – which seeks to predict the outcome of Premier League match – comes in.

Here’s how it works:

• We selected the five factors we think most influence a football match
• Each week we put a score against each factor for the teams involved, and finally;
• We add the scores together to give a total indicating the likely outcome.
